BEYOND THE BOUNDARIES.- Chapter 3.

Read the SECOND CHAPTER.

Aati hu” came a female voice from inside.
The door was opened by Sunita, Abhimanyu’s cook.
Sahab kamre me hai.” Sunita replied.
When two people are too close, from family to servants, they just know everybody and everything about each other.
She walked towards Abhimanyu’s room and slowly opened the door, only to find him lying on the floor.
She ran towards him “Abhimanyu are you fine?” she was scared and her fear was obvious. How would you feel if you will see your friend lying on the floor unconscious?

She took his head on her lap and shrugged it, so as to get him back to consciousness.
Yeah? Hey, what? What are you doing here? You said you can’t come.”
He was just lying on the floor, trying to sleep.
“Are you fucking insane? Why were you lying on the floor you stupid person? Don’t you have a bed. Are you crazy? You… you’re just insane.” she yelled.
“I’m sorry. I was just so depressed, I wasn’t feeling like moving.”
“But you asked me to meet you up so we could go to the club? If you weren’t feeling like moving how were we supposed to go? You are stupid, just purely stupid like ugh!”
Looking at her groaning and tensed he was unable to stop himself from smiling, “Yes, I did but then you said you can’t come and I was upset.”
“Oh you stupid! Go get ready, we are going.” She ordered, pointing her finger towards his wardrobe.
He stood up without arguing or asking anything else and went straight to the bathroom to change.
Mehek changed afterwards and they both were ready to get Abhimanyu out of this sad phase.
“Let’s go.”

It’s sometimes contagious how you come so close to someone and gives your relationship the name of "friendship".
But with friendship, comes boundaries, boundaries which we often ignores. Sometimes messing up with those boundaries is the main reason for our messed up friendships.

The two friends entered the club happily, unaware of the coming event.
An event that was the beginning of something, something that was about to change their lives forever.

She, with rosy pink lips was dressed in a black sequined, boat neck, deep back, bodycon dress that she hid inside her bag while leaving from home.
She was aware Abhimanyu was upset, so she chose to wear the dress Abhimanyu himself bought for her. The dress she said she won’t ever wear because, it basically won’t match her style. Yes, her tom-boyish style. But she still wore it for him, she wanted to give him a surprise.
And him, wearing a white short sleeve shirt and a black cut sleeve jacket exposing his strong, big arms with a blue ripped jeans complementing the greyish-blue color of his eyes.
“Black suits you.”
“Thanks, black is my color. I always wear black, didn't you ever noticed?” She smiled.
“You look hot with open hairs, I told you you’ll look hot in this dress. And damn girl! You are wearing a lipstick.
You look so hot, I never noticed these curves.”
“You know how we are a secret? Just like that, some other good things should be kept as a secret too.”
“Ah! Someone’s high before drinking eh? Are you flirting with me Ms. Mehek Chakraborty?”
They both laughed and went straight to the bar. After arguing for 2 minutes about what they wanted, they ordered 4 vodka shots each.
“Cheers to not being sad.”
“Cheers to you looking sexy.” He teased.
Both of them had their shots, and called for another round. That night, they were at the stage
they wanted to be, completely drunk.

Mehek looked at Abhimanyu with a flirty smile, inviting him to dance with her.
He accepted her invitation and held her hand. They both danced like complete idiots, not caring about
the world. To them, all that mattered was happiness.
It was all mad and crazy, till their favorite song played, ‘Hero by Enrique Iglesias’.
They stopped and smiled softly looking at each other, he pulled her by her waist, placing her hands on his shoulders.
They were looking into each other’s eyes and that was the moment they realized, may be what they have, is more than friendship.
They were completely drunk, and who take things seriously when they are drunk? Neither of the two for once, thought about Abhimanyu’s relationship.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and he pulled her closer. She smiled, he looked at her lips. They both knew what they wanted to do, and so, they did.
He tucked her hairs behind her ear, signaling her, his wish. She replied back by closing her eyes.

Its amusing how relationships changes so fast, one moment it's friendship, another it's love and next, it's just nothing.

He reached close to her face and slowly closed his eyes, pressing his lips against hers.
As soon as their lips touched, they both felt something they knew they had never experienced before, a feeling that this kiss wasn’t going to be something casual, a feeling that this will change everything between them.
A thought of retrieval did took over their minds, but then, wrongs that feels right, shouldn’t be stopped.
It was weird how they were so drunk but even then, they could think so much and still didn't do anything to stop themselves.

His warm lips brushed against her tender ones, and they locked them down.
Slowly sipping onto each other, the passion grew stronger. He tightened his grip around her waist, slowly lifting her up on her feet, his other hand, discovering every curve of her body, his cold fingers feeling every inch of her warm skin. She was beautiful, and he knew.
The passion was mutual, her nails dug deep in his skin, her tongue tasting his mouth with every thick stroke.
She lost herself in his breaths, and then their heartbeats met.

They were kissing like some long lost lovers from a classic love story. As if her lips were the only one to feed his thirst. They were passionate and for that moment, they were in love.

After a long passionate kiss they pulled back, they moved away creating space between them, recalling the fact that they have boundaries, boundaries they were about to cross, boundaries, they shouldn’t really leave.

They looked into each other’s eyes, it was awkward. And that awkwardness was obvious. They still managed to give each other a tight smile and decided to leave the place right away.
That night, while walking out of the bar, they avoided holding each other's hand while earlier, they never did.
They took a cab to Abhimanyu’s home. In the cab and the elevator there was an eerie silence, the silence of embarrassment. They both wanted to kiss, and they both did kissed. Then why was there embarrassment? Well, that’s the thing about friendships, people are close but still so far.

Abhimanyu opened the door to his flat and as soon as they both entered his room, they realized how different, things have turned because of that one moment. 2 hours ago, she was yelling at him and now, there’s this haunting silence.
They realized they should talk to break the tension, she asked him about his upcoming basketball match, he asked her when she’ll show him her poems, and the conversation went on and on.
It seemed as if, everything was back to normal and they had completely forgotten the kiss, but did they? The answer was, no.
Sitting beside each other, talking with her warm hands holding his cold one's, the two best friends were about to witness something huge. Something that was about to put a question mark to their friendship. Something that was about to change everything.

What happened next? Was Nandita returning? Or was it something else?
Find out in the next chapter.
