BEYOND THE BOUNDARIES.- Chapter 4.

What will come to your mind, if you are sitting with a friend, holding his hand, a friend you’ve had your life’s most beautiful moment with? Friend you’ve had your first kiss with? Awkward? Exactly. They were feeling the same.
The thought of that kiss wasn’t ready to leave their mind. Somewhere, they didn't wanted to forget too.
Her phone rang, it was her dad. Mehek walked out of the room and went to the balcony, talking to her father. While Abhimanyu was sitting there with his head in his hands, he was angry on himself for kissing Mehek, he was angry of not being able to control. But was he really angry for those reasons? No, he was angry because he still wanted her.
Lost in his thoughts and anger, the sound of raindrops made their way to his ears. Rain reminded him of Mehek, the sight of her, chasing raindrops fallen on the car’s window with her fingertips, her beautiful bright smile that widens up every time it rains, her face and the kiss, it was all in front of his eyes, he could feel everything.
Suddenly, he heard a thump, he knew someone fell and he was sure that this ‘someone’ was Mehek. He ran towards the balcony, she was sitting on the floor, laughing.
Looking at her, he started to laugh too. He knew she must’ve slipped, it was obvious, her clumsiness plus rain equals to her on the floor.
He gave her his hand and she tried to stand but she couldn’t, she slipped again.
And just like every other hero, the prince picked up the princess in his strong muscular arms, and took her to the room.
No, actually that didn’t happened, she tried to stand again and this time, he helped her. She stood up, but there was pain in her feet. Abhimanyu gave her his shoulder and lead her to the room.
Her eyes were fixed upon him, yet again, mesmerized by his looks. Mesmerized by how he always saves her.
He chaperoned her to the bed, her eyes were still fixed on him, he looked at Mehek and his urge to want her, increased. Her round, light brown eyes, were inviting him to relive that kiss and complete what was left.
He looked deep into her eyes slowly shifting his sight to her lips, he was asking her if she wanted the same. She replied with a nod.
And with that nod, there was no stopping them. He pulled her close and they kissed like mad lovers, her hands in his hairs, his’ wrapped around her waist, their lips locked together, their tongues loving each other.
Call it the booze, the magic of rain or the elixir in the atmosphere, but there was something behind that passion, something really strong.
What they were doing, it was wrong, but the forces were against stopping it. The rain, this elixir, they were all in the favor of their union. The mistake had to be done.

He gently bit her lower lip slowly breaking the kiss. Then, he kissed on her neck and she moaned in pleasure, that was exactly what he wanted, a series of kisses there and he made his way up, smoothly licking her all the way to lightly nibble her earlobe.
He leaned with her on the bed and slowly whispered in her ear, “I don’t want this night to end”, his warm breath in that cold atmosphere created a sensation, there was an adrenaline rush. She took his head in her hands, looked at him and smiled.
She brought his face closer to hers, feeling his breath against her skin and kissed him again, unbuttoning his shirt.

The two were so much into each other, that at that moment, they weren’t friends anymore, they were something more than that.
And as it thundered outside, inside she moaned, louder and louder. Scratches of her nails on his back were enough to express her satisfaction. While him, lying tired with that smile and his arms wrapped around her tight, were enough of the proof, that he was satisfied too.
He kissed her forehead and sealed a good night by gently pressing his lips against hers, she replied the same with a smile.
It’s beautiful how some moments are. There are two people, close to each other, both emotionally and physically. There’s nothing to hide between them, they are together, and at least for that moment, within no boundaries.
There, Mehek was, naked in bed with the one, she once never really knew, the one she never imagined will ever notice her, the one, she once was emotionally naked to. She was with the guy, she spent the whole year as a secret.
She kept staring at his face, there was petrichor in the air, the thunder was the music and rain, it brought them together.
She moved his hand, trying to get up, picked up his shirt and wore it. Standing there behind his glass doors, she was unable to ignore the temptation rain gave.

She slightly opened the door, trying to make no noise and stepped out in the balcony, under the rain. She was smiling insanely, with every drop that fell on her body, the only thing she could think, was Abhimanyu’s cold fingers and his warm lips.
She was blushing, lost in her own thoughts, behaving all crazy. She was in love.
The night brought with it a change, they never even imagined. This night changed the whole definition of their friendship.
Together, they stepped out of their boundaries, together, but for how long?

25th February, 2014

The morning arrived with the chirping of birds and the blushy smile, it was the result of the flashbacks of last night.
Mehek was sleeping with her hands wrapped around him, a look at her innocent face and he was unable to think. He smiled looking at her, smiling in her dreams, his messy tom-boy looked beautiful then ever in that peace.
He stood up and went to the kitchen. Returned with two coffee mugs, but she wasn’t there.
He called her name, there was no response, he panicked.
He checked for the bathroom and finally, saw balcony's door ajar, she was out. He picked up the two mugs and marched to the balcony. She, spreading her hands, closing her eyes was enjoying the freshness of the morning air, when Abhimanyu came from behind. He kissed her head and slowly near her ear, said, “Good Morning, My beautiful.” The word ‘my’ was enough to make her think that her love for him was now mutual, he was in love with her too. She quickly turned around and hugged him, spilling some coffee on the floor. And with that coffee, her dream was about to spill too.
He was about to hug her back, when his phone rang, ‘NANDITA CALLING…’ it showed.
Oh my god! Finally!” Abhimanyu sighed with relief, and with his sigh there was a clump in her throat, she couldn’t speak. He left her, picking up his phone, handing her the coffee mugs while she stood stone-cold with both the mugs in her hands and a pain in her heart.

She sat down in a corner, a tear drop made its way down to her cheeks. There was a fight between mind and feelings. Later, few more tear drops followed, they were enough to clear her mind. She had a decision.
Abhimanyu returned with a smile. Mehek signaled him to sit beside her. He sat, and was about to speak when Mehek stopped him by putting her finger on his lips.
She slowly rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. And said, “I don’t love you, but I want you.” Saying that she looked up, confronting Abhimanyu.
Abhimanyu was confused, he was unable to crack the meaning behind her words, she never sounded so bold and upfront.
I…

What did Mehek said? What was the meaning behind her statement? Was Mehek really not in love with Abhimanyu? Or was this her plan to win him from Nandita?
